My name is Alyssa and I am a freshman at URI. My birthday is Christmas Eve, which I have always hated because I never get a special day for myself. I'm from a really small town in Massachusetts called Douglas. I'm so excited to be at URI because there are so many more people here than in my town. At URI I live in Heathman Hall. I am a music education major and hope to be an elementary school music teacher after I graduate from college. I love playing the piano and I also play the alto and tenor saxophones. Music is pretty much my life.
